A steel cage match for the United States Championship is set for WWE Monday Night Raw.
The match was set up on social media when The Miz issued a challenge to United States Champion Bobby Lashley. Miz said that he would have won last Monday if not for Dexter Lumis showing up. Miz added that he will make the title relevant and he wants it to be bigger than any title in WWE.
Lashley issued his response on Twitter and said that the way to keep the credibility of the title is to keep it away from people like The Miz.
Lumis has been getting involved in Miz matches as of late so this steel cage match may be the catalyst to officially get their angle going. Of late, there have been rumors about Indi Hartwell joining Lumis on the main roster to feud with Miz and Maryse.
