WWE has brought another former wrestler to help at the Performance Center.
Fightful Select reports Wesley Blake was at the training facility recently to work as a guest coach. It was said he is highly regarded in the Performance Center as he and his teammate Steve Maclin were some of the longest-tenured names there. His work outside of WWE has also been spoken highly of.
Blake worked the most recent AEW Dark tapings in addition to being a regular wrestler for Control Your Narrative, RCW, and Revolver. The report noted that “he’s had people in several companies that have pushed for him to get looks.”
This report also noted that “despite the confusing wording around her stay at the WWE Performance Center, Santana Garrett was guest coaching as well.”

Blake found success with Murphy, holding the NXT Tag Team Championships before splitting up. Blake was later part of the Forgotten Sons faction with Steve Cutler and Jaxson Ryker. Their main roster push was derailed in 2020 due to comments made by Ryker. He was let go alongside several other stars last year.
