Kamaru Usman releases short statement after UFC 278 knockout loss: ‘Champs f**k up sometimes’
Kamaru Usman had his impressive winning streak inside the octagon came to an abrupt end in the UFC 278 main event on Saturday.
Leon Edwards knocked out Usman with a head kick late in the final round stopping Usman’s winning streak at 15 consecutive wins and took home the 170-pound championship.
Shortly after the loss, Usman released a short statement on social media vowing to comeback with a ‘vengeance.’
